The Scenario


Kwi Zeen Catering is a boutique catering company that prides itself on delivering a comprehensive food service and ensures you have the best possible experience at your function or event.

The client approached us and asked if we could undertake an audit on the site and the branding of the company.

On closer investigation we found;

  • The site was not generating many sales leads, the traffic was okay and the presentation was affecting the generation and conversion     of sales leads/quotes.
  • The key marketing messages were not being clearly communicated,
  • The flow of the site was not walking potential clients through the decision process and gaining a commitment.
  • Keywords used needed to be improved and there also needed to be evidence of professionalism and service delivery.
  • There were useability issues in the placement of messages and links.
  • The Branding was not in line with the look, feel and personality of the organisation.

Solution


We worked closely with the client, asking the tough marketing questions. After which we formulated a strategy to build the website.

Key areas addressed were


  • The new design was crafted to represent her and the business personality.
  • The design was made more professional and thus gave sufficient credibility to the business for people to enquire and generate quotes.
  • The decision making process her clients would be faced with was refined and endeavoured to walk them though this with the site     design and content.
  • Content on the current site was written to represent the needs of the client rather than the needs of the business. This enabled     visitors to the site to identify with the content. They are then more likely to turn into a lead.
  • Inner page design focused on short bite sized information that was easily consumable as we found her clients were time stressed and     didn’t have time to read big slabs of text.
  • In re-branding the business, we developed a new logo after finding the old logo was not consistent with the level of professionalism     the rest of the site was geared towards. This created a consistency of branding.
  • Analytics applications were installed to allow the client to analyse how well the site is performing and what return on investment the     site is generating.

The Result


  • 200% increase of sales leads.
  • Improved search results.
  • Analytics has now enabled a ROI to be calculated and Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns to be tracked.
