Bullet Point  Content Management System

To keep your website current and ensure it contains up to date information about your business, you need the flexibility to add text or images or remove content that is no longer relevant.

There are two types of websites: static and dynamic, and both are built using HTML code. A static website can only be changed by a developer or experienced coder. Therefore, changes can quickly become expensive since you cannot do them in-house.

A dynamic website has a Content Management System, or CMS. This is an interface that allows you to easily update, expand or change your site. Some features and benefits include:

Bullet Point add or delete pages Add pages for promotions, seasonal events or temporary offers, then delete them when you’re done. Keeps your site organised.

Content Management System (CMS) with User Level Access

Choosing a content management system with user level access gives you the ability to easily segment your pages so that you can target your visitors more accurately. It also allows you to create pages that are specific to a client, your staff or a group of members. This is done by allowing users to create accounts and allocating “access levels” to each member. For example, you can create a page with all the necessary forms and downloads for a particular client’s business. The page will only be visible when the designated company’s employees sign in. Therefore, other people that come to your site aren’t faced with irrelevant content, and sensitive material can be safely shared with certain groups.

Similarly, you can add things for your staff to create an online space with helpful tips reminders and updates. You can give access to some or all of your staff and allow them to participate and add their own content. Since no one but your staff will see the pages, the way your clients see the site will not be affected.

Inclusive Training

The interface and editing features of the content management system is similar to your Office programs so you won’t have any trouble using it. However, once the site is live, we do a training session with all the necessary staff to familiarise them with the way the system works.
